Brian Martin Senior Product Designer

Senior Product Designer

I design clear, testable product experiences for enterprise, regulated, and data-heavy systems.

My work spans internal tools, research platforms, analytics, and compliance-shaped journeys. I'm strongest when the work sits close to implementation reality.

Designing trust in a research data catalog

Embedded collaboration and AI-assisted exploration into CSL's internal research catalog so scientists could verify AI output, resume decisions, and discuss results without leaving dataset context. Combined shipped annotation patterns, a source-visible AI pilot, and a future-state workspace concept for longer-running research workflows.

Strengths
AI / Data Workflow Trust
Designing AI-assisted surfaces where evidence visibility, scope clarity, and conservative guardrails matter more than novelty. Source-grounded, not chat-first.
Regulated / Compliance-Heavy UX
Translating legal and compliance constraints into usable, scannable flows without collapsing clarity. Proven across fintech, pharma, and telecom contexts.
Internal Tools / Dense Workflows
Tables, admin surfaces, dismissible panels, and multi-step ops flows. The kind of work where edge-case coverage and handoff quality are the actual product.
Design Systems / Production Alignment
Component governance, audit-and-refresh cycles, and production-aware handoff that reduces drift between design and build in live enterprise environments.
